- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup gluten-free chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
In another bowl, beat together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
