Equipment

  • kettle or pot for boiling water
  • heat resistant cup
  • tea strainer, fine mesh sieve, tea infuser
  • stirring spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint leaves optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups of water
  • Honey or lemon optional, for taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Prepare Herbs: Lightly crush the oregano, mint, and rosemary to release their oils.
  • Steep: Place the oregano, mint, rosemary, and cinnamon stick in a teapot or cup. Pour the boiling water over the herbs.
  • Cover and Steep: Cover and let the mixture steep for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain: Strain the herbs and pour the tea into a cup.
  • Serve: Add honey or lemon if desired for taste.
