Metabolism Boosting Electrolyte Zinger

Looking for an electrolyte drink with a little kick. Our electrolyte zinger will hit the spot. This recipe incorporates refreshing citrus, ginger and cayenne pepper.

Equipment

  • Citrus Juicer (optional but helpful for extracting maximum juice)
  • Large Jug or Pitcher
  • Grater or Microplane (for grating fresh ginger)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Stirring Spoon or Whisk
  • serving glasses

Ingredients
  

  • Juice of two oranges
  • Juice of two lemons
  • 4 cups of cold water
  • 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper adjust according to taste preference

Instructions
 

  • In a large jug, squeeze the juice of two oranges and two lemons.
  • Add 4 cups of cold water to the jug.
  • Add the grated ginger, a pinch of salt, and the honey.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients until the honey is fully dissolved.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper into the mixture. Stir again to incorporate the spice evenly.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or spiciness as desired.
  • Serve chilled for a refreshing and hydrating experience.
